Topic: Best Practices of Family & Private Businesses

Join us for the next RCP Power Lunch to hear Steve McLemore, Engagement Director of U.C.’s Goering Center for Family and Private Business, discuss the 10 best practices that are very consistent among successful family and private businesses and their relevance to your business.

Throughout Steve’s career, he has demonstrated a talent for quickly grasping the big picture, developing concrete plans for success, and perhaps most important to his role, building organizational momentum. Most recently, Steve served as Vice President for Pomeroy where he led a 320-plus Field Services and Operations team. He has a proven track record in strategy development, operations, and revenue generation, working in a wide variety of enterprises including Computer Associates, Xerox Global Services and Martin Marietta (formerly GE Aerospace).

The Goering Center is the largest university-based family business resource center in North America. They have been serving our region for over 25 years. The Center is affiliated with the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business.

At the event, you will have a fantastic opportunity to network with members of area chambers including: Evendale, Forest Park, Norwood, Reading, Springdale, and Woodlawn. You are welcome to bring literature about your business as there will be display tables set up in the networking area.  You can also be a sponsor of the Power Lunch for only $250. You will receive a 6 foot display table, two complimentary meals, as well as be listed as a sponsor on all the advertisements for the event.
